Day 1- Arrival at Bagdogra- Transfer to Phuntsholing
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station.
Be greeted by our representative.
Travel to Phuntsholing, Bhutan’s border town.
Check in at your designated hotel.
Begin permit processing formalities for Bhutan.
Stay overnight at Lotus Villa, Hotel Palam, or similar.
Day 2- Phuntsholing - Capital of Bhutan Thimphu
After breakfast, complete the permit formalities at Jaigaon and begin your drive to Thimphu.
Enjoy a scenic journey through Bhutan’s picturesque countryside, with winding mountain roads, lush broadleaf forests, waterfalls, and charming villages.
Stop at Chuzom Bridge to witness the confluence of the Paro and Thimphu rivers, along with portraits of the King and Queen welcoming travellers.
Arrive in Thimphu by evening and check into your hotel.
If time allows, explore Thimphu — the world’s only capital city without traffic lights — or stroll through its vibrant local markets.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3- Excursion to Punakha via Dochu La Pass
Begin your day with breakfast and prepare for an excursion to Punakha, located 75 km east of Thimphu.
En route, stop at Dochu La Pass — a scenic mountain pass offering panoramic views of the Himalayas.
Enjoy tea/coffee at the pass while admiring the breathtaking surroundings.
Visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, built in memory of Bhutanese soldiers who lost their lives during “Operation All Clear” in 2003.
After lunch, take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility), dedicated to Lam Drukpa Kuenley (the Divine Madman).
The temple is renowned as a place where childless couples come to seek blessings for conception.
Continue your journey to Punakha and explore the majestic Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Mo Chhu and Po Chhu rivers.
This Dzong is the second largest and second oldest in Bhutan and hosts the famous annual Punakha Tshechu Festival.
After sightseeing, drive back to Thimphu.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 4- Thimphu Local Sight Seeing then drive to Paro
Wake up in the morning and have your breakfast in the morning.
Post breakfast local sightseeing of Thimphu. Simply Bhutan and Buddha Statue.
Later, get ready to board your transfers to Paro.
Arrival in Paro and check-in to the hotel.
Have your dinner and overnight stay in Paro.
Day 5- Hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery
Start your day early with a hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang).
Experience the serenity and spiritual significance without the crowds.
Perched 900 meters above Paro Valley, it’s one of Bhutan’s most sacred landmarks. It offers cultural and historical insights for visitors.
Trek takes approximately three hours through lush pine forests.
Trail adorned with vibrant prayer flags for a spiritual ambiance.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. The combination of natural beauty and spiritual aura makes the trek unforgettable.
Overnight accommodation options include Shomo Chuki Resort or Green Valley Boutique or other comparable options available for a restful night after your hike.
Day 6- Paro to Phuntsholing
Begin your day with a visit to the National Museum of Bhutan to explore the country’s rich cultural heritage.
Experience the serenity and spiritual significance without the crowds.
Proceed to Paro Rinpung Dzong to admire its impressive architecture and enjoy stunning views of Paro Valley.
After sightseeing, drive back to Phuntsholing in the afternoon.
For an overnight stay, Lotus Villa, Hotel Palam, or a similar hotel for comfort and rest.
Day 7 - Departure - Back to Home
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey
